University ֱ Staff Among the Recipients of the August 20 State Awards

The feast of King Saint Stephen and the foundation of the Hungarian state, August 20, is one of the nation’s most important public holidays. On this day, Hungary expresses its gratitude and recognition to all those who enrich our community through their work, professionalism, and exemplary conduct.

On this distinguished occasion, Tamás Sulyok, President of the Republic of Hungary – upon the proposal of the Minister of the Interior – awarded state honors. It is a great source of pride for us that six outstanding staff members of the University ֱ were among the honorees, receiving well-deserved recognition for their contributions, which also enhance the reputation of our university.

The Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit (Civil Division) was awarded for high-quality work to:

  • Dr. Annamária Sasné Grósz, Associate Professor, Head of Department, and Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University ֱ.

In recognition of outstanding activity, the Hungarian Order of Merit, Gold Cross (Civil Division) was awarded to:

  • Dr. Tibor Gábor Csizmadia, Technical Manager, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, and Head of the Institute of Management, University ֱ.
  • Dr. Ágnes Nóra Raffay-Danyi, Economist, Associate Professor, former Head of Department, Faculty of Business and Economics, University ֱ.

In recognition of outstanding activity, the Hungarian Order of Merit, Bronze Cross (Civil Division) was awarded to:

  • Gábor Felföldi, Hungarian and Drama Teacher, Theatre Historian, Head of the Culture Organizing Group, Rector’s Cabinet, University ֱ.
  • Judit Szokolikné Kalmár, Economist, Head of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, University ֱ.
  • Andrea Orlainé Tauer, Academic Administrator, Educational Directorate, University ֱ.
