The University ֱ has made significant progress in its international commitment to sustainability: in the 2025 edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, the university was evaluated in 16 categories related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The university ranked in the 1001–1500 band out of 2,318 higher education institutions worldwide. This is a particularly noteworthy result considering that last year the University ֱ only participated partially in the assessment. This year’s full participation clearly reflects the institution’s strategic commitment to addressing the complex challenges of sustainability.
The detailed results clearly demonstrate the university’s development: in the category “Partnerships for the Goals” (SDG 17), the university achieved significant improvement, moving from the 801–1000 band in 2024 to the 601–800 band in 2025. This indicator evaluates how institutions contribute to strengthening implementation tools and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development.
Among the university’s most outstanding results are also “Affordable and Clean Energy” (SDG 7) and “Decent Work and Economic Growth” (SDG 8) – both in the 601–800 band – as well as “Gender Equality” (SDG 5), which placed in the 801–1000 range.
The university’s advancement in the THE Impact Rankings not only increases its international visibility but also reinforces its values-based approach, which integrates the goals of sustainable development across all areas of education, research, and social engagement.
