The University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ won the HR OSCAR award in the HR Wellbeing competition organised by the National Association for Human Resource Management (OHE), which means that it was awarded first place in the university category.
At the event, Attila Szűcs, lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities of the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, was awarded the prize for our environment. László Gábor Seress, President of the Hungarian Ethological Society, Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Natural Sciences of the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, received the Memorial Plaque for our Environment. This year's Environment for Us awards and commemorative plaques were presented to the recipients at the Ministry of Energy (EM) by the Ministry's State Secretary for the Environment and the Circular Economy and the Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, who is responsible for protecting the interests of future generations.

Eleven Hungarian institutions, including the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, have been included in the latest international university rankings of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
Organised by Dr László Orbán and Dr Szabolcs Nagy, 270 young researchers from 24 universities and research institutes registered for the three-day, online, English-language course . The lessons and experiences of the course were discussed in a workshop at the Pannon CommunityHub. The presentations of the workshop, organised by the Centre for Multidisciplinary Research and Excellence, were followed by an informal discussion.
Ideona Zrt., in partnership with the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and the Budapest University of Technology, has applied as consortium leader for the "Development of innovative electrochemical storage of carbon-free, surplus electricity" tender announced by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, which will enable the company to be the first in Central Europe to commission a vanadium-based hybrid power plant in Öskü.
On the 22nd of May, the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ welcomed the guests from our international partner universities for our first Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Day. Seven university representatives – from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Ukraine, - got familiar with the University ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and got involved into exciting exchange of experience.
As part of the Stipendium Hungaricum project, a tour will take place on Saturday 1 June, focusing on the famous Witness Mountains. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to discover the natural beauty and history of this part of Hungary in an exciting 20-kilometre hike.
